42’ cruising catamaran designed by Bernd Kohler MANTApage, built professional by RK Marine (UK) in wood/epoxy in 1988.
I bought Lucia 2010 in the Netherlands and sailed her in 2011 together with my son and one additional crew member via Horta across the Atlantic to Canada. She is an excellent, stable and comfortable sea boat with ample living space. I am her proud third owner but don’t have the time to really enjoy her and do her justice. Since I got diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2012, I have only spend three weeks on board. Lucia was completely overhauled by her second owner in 2009, including new engines & sail drives, electronics and a new two pack paint job. Since then I have installed numerous new equipment and Lucia received a new antiskid paint job in 2012 as well. Although the stbd aft deck could be repainted again. She is in need of a new main sail and new running rigging
should be installed before the mast could be re-stepped. I did remove the railing to redo all the railing bases in wood epoxy. But it was getting to cold and damp in fall 2013, so I was not able to repaint these and install the railing again.
