Decided to sell our Bertram 42, she's served us well for many years (but it's time to move on to something new) and we're hoping to find her a good home.
Truly a turn-key vessel. One of Bertram's most popular models, only 329 of these Convertibles were built, with this particular vessel being built during the last year of production.
This Classic Bertram 42 is in pristine condition. She is a proven fishing machine with a large cockpit and spacious interior. This vessel is ready for tournament fishing, or family getaways. Owner has outgrown the boat and looking to upgrade.
This Bertram runs and looks great. She is equipped with Twin Detroit Diesel 6V92TAs (475hp each), and cruises comfortably at 20kts (with a top speed of 23kts). Her interior is modern, well kept, and well laid out with 2 spacious staterooms, large salon area, galley, and head. She has a diesel generator and 3 separate AC units.
Forward is a guest stateroom with v-berth that includes under-berth storage. The dual entry head boasts a new Jabsco saltwater marine toilet, mirrored vanity, and shower. A master stateroom is located to the port side with a queen berth, television, and full closet. The master stateroom has private access to the head as well as a full closet and under berth storage.
Her salon is open and comfortable with newly varnished woodwork and new carpet. Large windows provide lots of natural light with newly installed blinds for privacy. She includes a custom hi-lo table with folding sides. To Starboard is a full sofa that doubles as a pullout bed. Forward in the salon is the entertainment center with flat screen television (with DirecTV via TracVision satellite), SiriusXM Radio, DVD player, and surround sound stereo (with separate controls for individual areas, i.e. cockpit, salon, master). The galley is down and to starboard with an electric range, microwave oven, full size stand-up refrigerator/freezer, counter top, and stainless steel sink.
The large cockpit includes prep station, Pompanette rocket launcher (that can be replaced with a fiberglass table top), cockpit freezer, transom door, and swim platform (with stainless steel ladder). Wide side decks lead forward to the bow area with stainless steel bow rail, pulpit, anchor, and electric windlass. Raw water wash-down and a deep drop outlet are conveniently located.
Up on the flybridge we have new Eisenglass enclosure, rocket launchers, and RuppRigger outriggers. The centerline helm station has Pompanette captain's/mate's chairs. Located above, is the electronics area containing a very new Raymarine package- e series HybridTouch Display with depth sounder, GPS, Auto Pilot, and Sirius weather- (the Raymarine display can connect to an Ipad which can double as another display anywhere on the vessel). In addition, there is an Icom Marine VHF, and stereo with Audio Pipe marine speakers.
All service records included.
