1972 Sea Lark, 21? long with an 8? beam.
Built and designed in Islamorada by Don Wollard.
This boat is unique. Only a few were built.
The hull design looks like a 20? Bertram Deep V with a tunnel drive. Designed as a shallow water direct drive inboard boat with a deep V ride.
The bottom starts as a deep V ( 24 ? degree) and goes to a rear tunnel.
The boat is an open fisherman with the engine mounted under the center console.
Access to the engine is good. She draws about 1? at rest and about 6? on plane.
The running gear is tucked into the tunnel.
The hull is heavy built fiberglass and original. Decks and console are conventional glass over marine plywood construction and the stringers are glass covered wood
It has been in my family since new. Always lift stored inside. There is no rot.
The current power is a 2000 Crusader 5.7 Plus package with a Velvet Drive Trans.
It has a 1 ? ? SS shaft, strut, stuffing box, and a bronze rudder and prop.
The steering is Teleflex cable mounted to the external bronze rudder arm.
The engine runs very well, raw water cooled and flushed after usage.
The engine is not a rebuild but is a factory Crusader engine and transmission package.
The Gel coat is rough but the structure of the boat is heavy and sound.
The boat is presently stored behind my home on a lift .
It has duel batteries, auto / manual bilge pump, gauges and running lights, GPS, compass, and sounder.
The boat gets about 2 mpg at 20 mph cruise . WOT is about 35 mph.
Location is Charlotte Harbor,Punta Gorda, Southwest Florida.
This Boat is Turn Key ready. Mechanically sound and always serviced .
Everything works on boat and boat has all coast guard required equipment.
Boat is run and fished at least weekly. Boat has never just sat in storage.
She needs ONLY COSMETIC updates like paint,Gel coat, leaning post, and a bimini top.
