To my knowledge, the only Leopard 43/M4300 available on the West Coast. She is currently undergoing the Moorings phase out process and will be in excellent shape when they are done. There are definite advantages to buying a boat in Mexico.
BUILDERS REMARKS: Designed in collaboration between Simonis-Voogd Design and Robertson & Caine. The concept of the Leopard 43 is the maximizing of space, performance and comfort. Built in Cape Town, South Africa, the Leopard 43 features 4 spacious double cabins, each with private head and shower, two single berths in the forward bows, a modern galley-up design with panoramic views, Corian work surfaces and a V-shaped saloon with seating for 8 guests, a large bathing platform with direct access to the cockpit and a functional hard top fitted as standard. The Leopard 43 is equipped with shore power, heat & air-conditioning, complete electronics, a powerful sail plan and high-powered reliable Yanmar engines (40hp ea.), giving great performance under sail as well as power.
OWNERS REMARKS: Based in relatively low utilization La Paz she is in excellent shape, including new sails, and ready to start cruising. The hardtop bimini is an excellent solar panel platform. The design is fast and stable and there is excellent access to engines and systems which makes this model easy to maintain and leaves plenty of space for a genset & water maker. Currently undergoing phase out maintenance from the Moorings under the expert supervision of Marine Surveyor and longtime boat builder; Cecil Lange
