I found this old girl in a yard in Needles. She's one of those pieces of Americana boating you hate to put down for good. You know she was Sexy Red and everyone's dream girl at one time. Has a decent interior with some cleaning. Has all the controls and interior in the cabin. Has a Berkeley 12-J still mounted nicely. The aluminum motor mounts are there. The rail is nice. Trailer tows great. A rare deal is the cavitation plates on a jet boat. I suppose for lift with the jet. So my dilemma is; do I cut the jet out of her and take the nice bolster seats or, do I sell her to someone who might really want her? Or do I rebuild the 475 HP Corvette 454 in her and give her a coat of paint and clear? I guess I will let the site decide her fate. I will sell her with the jet, interior, controls and motor plates for $1,000 on her trailer. Give her a look and offer me enough to save her if you like. Really a tough call on this one.
