Ive caught the offshore bug and am selling my 2005 Grady White Journey 258 walkaround to upgrade to a twin-engine center console. In my opinion, this is one of the best-equipped boats in its class in the region. It has everything one needs to fish inshore, bayside, and offshore and Ive used for every one of those applications. A very versatile boat that is also trailerable: Ive fished it up and down the Chesapeake Bay and caught tuna from her 50 miles off of the Outer Banks. I am the second owner (the first was extremely meticulous in upkeep) and since Ive bought her Ive completely upgraded the electronic package to top-of-the-line networked Furuno equipment, added radar, added auto pilot (networked to GPS = extremely handy), and added hard-top mounted outriggers (20-ft carbon fiber, double-rigged). I am currently in the process of replacing the enclosure, and putting new coaming pads and rear-seat cushion in, which hopefully will be completed soon. Other nice features include an extra fuel tank, a Lewmar windlass that makes repeated anchoring alone a breeze, and a remote-control spotlight on the bow pulpit for added security while running at night. A full list of standard and added features follows. The boat is completely turnkey. It also comes with a loadmaster trailer bought new last spring with electric-over-hydraulic brakes. This is a beast of a trailer ready to pull this boat wherever the fish are. I am asking $45,000 for her. Title is free and clear for boat and trailer. If interested please email or PM. She is available for sea trial for serious potential buyers only. Boat is located on a trailer, stored indoors near BWI airport just outside of Baltimore, MD. I have put a few older pics in below just to show the basics of the boat, so they might not have all of the recent upgrades in there. I will be posting the latest pics once the enclosure and pads are installed, hopefully in the next few weeks. Apologies for not having more pics, but want to get a bunch with all the latest upgrades in there when they're done being installed and figured I might as well post the ad sooner rather than later to gauge interest. I am asking $49,500.

Performance Data (from Grady):
NOTE: Grady data is for a 300 Yamaha since there is no official bulletin for my configuration. This boat has a 250. My real-world performance is slightly lower than what is shown below, but fairly close. I typically run 4000-4500 rpms, which depending on conditions and load will push her 22-28 mph and consistently over 2.0 miles per gallon.
