I will sell without powerpoles for a 2k deduction. Feel free to make an offer
The boat just had the transom cut out and a new one built that can hold the heaviest of 4 strokes and comes with a warranty as well as the stringers being reinforced so this boat is bulletproof! It costs me 6k but now the boat could be repowered with a 300 if it was desired
These pics are before the transom was replaced and with the poling platform removed
the details: its a 1998 hewes light tackle 20 with a 1998 yamaha 200 vmax. This is the year the hull was changed to add recessed trim tabs, better storage, and better performance. DO A QUICK SEARCH FOR HEWES BOATS AND LOOK AT THE OTHER COMPARABLE LT20'S. I bet you wont find a comparable boat out there
it is an all blue hull just detailed (sanded with 800,1000,1200, buffed, polished, waxed) took forever but the outside looks amazing!
I purchased the boat april 2013 and went through a full restoration. The only thing orginal to the boat is the hull, trailer, and motor/guages.

Add up everything done to the boat along with its value and you would be over my asking price by a couple grand! if you were to buy a hewes lt 20 and do what i have done you would be in the low 20's for costs. You are basically getting a used hull and motor with everything in it brand new. Forget some other hewes 20 that has 15 year old wiring or switches that could fail at any moment and cost you 3 grand, this one has everything brand spanking new!
Its a fantastic boat and I really love it but im looking for something faster, maybe in the mid 60's-70's.
I would be willing to trade for another go fast flats boat like a lake and bay, pathfinder fusion, backcountry, sterling 20 or 22, hewes 21 redfisher, etc.
