I am selling my Sea Hunt Triton 232. It has a 2008 225hp ETEC with 361 hours on it.
We use the boat here in central Louisiana all the time in the river to pull tubes and fish. I also use it out of Venice to fish inshore and offshore. The boat handles really well and we have fished five out of it pretty easily.
Last spring all of the hubs were replaced, all four brake calipers were replaced with stainless steel, rotors were replaced, new brake lines run, and the coupler was replaced. Last weekend I completely rewired the trailer and put LED marker and tail lights on it.
Before selling, I will bring the vessel to the local tire place here and have four brand new tires put on the trailer. I ordered a new fender for the port side and I will be replacing it and the backing boards on both fenders this weekend. I am also going to swap the wheels around where they match. The slider boards the boat rests on where replaced in the fall with new treated boards and carpet.
I am reducing my asking price to $28,000. If you are interested, contact me and we can discuss price. I would like to sell the boat.
My name is Chip and you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for email and 318-730-4304 on my cell.
I was asked so I added up the weight to get a towed weight for the boat. Adding everything up with full fuel I get right around 5300 pounds. Below is a list of features:
2007 Sea Hunt Triton 232
2008 Evinrude 225hp ETEC with 361 hours
23'4" in length
103 gallon fuel tank
150 quart fishbox (starboard)
100 quart fishbox (port)
72 quart livewell
Freshwater washdown (just replaced)
Raw water washdown
Raymarine C70 chartplotter
Raymarine digital radar
ICOM M422 VHF (connected to GPS and programmed with MMSI number)
8 foot antenna for VHF
LED bow navigation lights
Anchor with 15' of chain and 75' of rode
LED spreader light
LENCO trim tabs
Dual batteries with Blue Sea switch and VSR to charge house battery while running
T-top with four rocket launchers
Leaning post with four rocket launchers
Dual axle trailer with brakes on both axles
LED lighting on trailer
Spare tire with carrier
Spare prop for motor
Clarion radio/CD player with two speakers in electronics box
Boat runs top speed of 48 mph with present prop. It runs 51 mph with spare prop. At 4000 rpm, boat cruises at around 34 mph getting 3 mpg+ loaded with four guys, full fish boxes of ice, full fuel, and a bunch of fishing crap.
Boat was just professionally compounded and waxed on the hull. I had all of the Sea Hunt logos and striping on the sides removed as the striping had gotta worn over time and the logos make it a pain to wax. If there is something else you want to see, let me know and I will take a picture for you.
