I'm ready to take the next step up but the admiral says this one must go before I get the next one. I have a 1995 Angler 204 WA with 2004 Johnson 150 and 2004 Roadking Trailer.
This is a great boat for the first time buyer. She's solid, got a reliable engine and she's rigged for fishing. And, she's priced right. I've owned this boat for the past five years and I have had zero issues with this boat. This boat regularly takes me and usually a couple more out to 40+ miles each trip. She's dry and comfortable to ride in. She's also small enough that I have put her in the local lake to pull the kids around on the tug toy. On the offshore trips, you can bank on 2.3 mpg and with a 80 gal. fuel tank, you're looking at a total trip of upwards 145 miles round trip, leaving some in reserve.
She has been outfitted with the following:
Stainless steel prop, used one season,
Stainless steel rodholders in gunnels (6),
Lee's 15 ft. gunnel mount outriggers rigged for two lines each,
New 80 gal. aluminum fuel tank in 2010,
Cockpit bolsters added last spring,
Swim step with folding ladder added last year,
Transom was replaced in 2009,
Lowrance LCX 27-C GPS/Fishfinder
West Marine DSC VHF-580 Radio.
Comes with lifejackets, anchor, 5 ft. chain and rode.
New radial tires added to trailer last year and all bearings redone.
Also has full semi-custom cover new this fall.
There is also a Todd seat cooler with flip back that needs re-upholstery (shown in first pic) if wanted.
This is great boat for someone just getting into sport fishing. Asking price is $9600 but all offers are welcomed and encouraged. Thanks for taking a look.
