It has come time to sell my 2003 Grady White 180 Sportsman.
like to step into something closer in the 28-30ft CC range and can't
justify 2 boats.
This boat is in excellent condition for its age and
only has 118 hours on the boat and motor.
The boat is powered by a 2003
Yamaha 115 4 stroke with zero issues.
The boat has been garaged stored
since new and it shows.
I am very meticulous with my boats and always
flush the motor after every use as well as wash.
Boat has been waxed
multiple times per year as well. I have added about $5000 worth of
upgrades when I purchased the boat in 2012.
Boat rides excellent for
it's size and I have personally taken it out 45+ miles offshore. Top
speed is a hair over 39MPH and it sips fuel.
You can run all day and
not even be at half a tank.
Boat does come with a 2003 Shorlander
For those wondering why the low hours, let me explain.
owner purchased the boat in 2003 new from the dealer.
After the initial
trip home he became sick and unfortunately passed.
The boat, motor and
trailer NEVER touched the water. The boat was garage stored until I
purchased it in 2012.
I just happened to drive by the day before his
wife was finally ready to sell.
The hours were literally at 1 at the
time of the test drive.
Before starting the boat the fuel tank was
pumped of only a few gallons, impeller changed, all fluids and fuel
filter changed and the boat has never missed a beat since.
Now the boat
is not 100 perfect but I would bet it's the cleanest 180 out there.
There are no cracks in the gel coat.
I do have cushions as well which I
Cushions are in very good shape with the exception of some
of the piping on 2 cushions that go on the back.
The only negatives
about the boat are there are 2 small chips on the keel that are maybe
1/16th of an inch deep and I removed one of the trailer brake calipers
because it was sticking.
The boat is so light and trailers so well I
never felt the need to replace it.
