1 year old Livingston 12 CC 20hp Yamaha $6000
The ultimate 1 man flats boat. (You can carry a couple more, but come on. It's a 12 foot catamaran.
Fast, stable, shallow and roomy for its size, with a great ride and fuel economy. Located St Pete Florida, I bought her new last year and had the dealer rig the console, seat and motor. All together it ran me a bit over 8K new. Both boat and motor are either 2012 or 2013.
The good: This is an awesome inshore fishing, island hopping and general runabout boat. She runs fast shallow and smooth, burning negligible amounts of fuel. Chop handling is powercat style, meaning she smooths out the faster you go. The hull has integral flotation, and no wood at all. Think of her as a small Carolina Skiff type boat, without the bone shaker ride. I've run the inlet at Pass a Grille in full tidal flow with 600 pounds of human aboard and it was fine. It's not a big fancy boat but you won't find a better inshore runabout for one person with an occasional guest.
The bad: I scuffed the engine housing on some oysters.
but it's not too severe. Everything else is in almost new condition. She's got steel rails on her hulls so you can beach her without hurting. Great for running to the islands on the weekends.
I don't have the trailer in the pictures here. She's sitting on my foredeck, waiting for you to drive her away. If you need a trailer the guys I bought her from (Central Marine on Tyrone Ave) can hook you up. There's a ramp about a mile away.
