2006 Mako 284
Yamaha/Mercury 225 4 strokes- 300 hoursEngines:
These engines, for those who don't know, are 100% Yamaha f225's, just with Mercury decals. In sometime around 2006, Mercury formed a deal with Yamaha where they would borrow their 225hp model. As far as I'm aware, this was done because the Verado's were not ready for the market at the time.
300 hours on the engines. They are run quite often, but I don't go far. Rarely offshore.
The start the first time, every time. My marine serves only ethanol free fuel, so that's the fuel I always use. All work done to them at beginning of the summer (6/14). Boat is serviced every year, and I have all service records available upon request. No issuesAmenities-
