Wanted to re-post this as the old listing was tough to follow with all of the upgrades done over the last few months and multiple updates. Still getting questions that are already answered in the listing. My window is closing fast to buy a new boat before the offshore season starts, so I'm making one final push to find her a new owner before I run her for another year. I am shocked that it hasn't sold yet after so many calls and emails, but you have to understand how much all of the rigging costs to appreciate the price I guess. Had her to the alter a few times, but the buyer just couldn't put the funds together when it came time. It's been nice fishing her the last few months. Everything is done! Ready for her new owner.
Ready to move up to a big Sportfish and this boat is just more than I need for inshore. I have been completely impressed with this little tank. She fished the Hudson and Lindenkohl canyons off NJ last year without an issue. Loved pulling up to the edge on a classic 25 while surrounded by 60 footers just for the stares alone! Ran her 250nm round trip for an overnight plus trolling and burned 135 gallons. Cruises at 28-30knts fully loaded with 3 guys and a canyon load burning between 2 and 2.3mpg, and tops out around 40knts. 400 mile range in most fishable conditions. If you haven’t been on one of the older Mako hulls, ask around. One of the best riding 25’ boats you will find. The Hull, Deck and Transom are rock solid. I don’t think you will find another boat with the quality of ride, range, electronics, reliability of low-hour 4-stroke Yamahas, and the fuel economy priced better.
