New 1988 Mako Flat
I purchased this as a new stage 1 bare hull with ash stringers and floor from Jim Ermsha in February and took delivery in May of 1988. The bottom was done by Mike Denel. The boat has never been floated or driven etc. it?s new!!! The installation is all custom one off, the motor is a 500ci pro gas using a Chevy bowtie block as the base. It has two Holley 1050 carbs that have been worked over by Advance Engine Development out of Richmond Virginia with air bleeds and all the goodies. These are fed by an Enderle 80A fuel pump feeding a BG 4 port regulator all coming from a Imco fuel tank with an ice tube, all this sits on a custom made sheet aluminum intake. The heads are aluminum Pontiac flowed and set up by Morgan Machine. It has a Jesel belt drive as well as Jesel rockers and a Fluid damper. On the inside there are BME aluminum rods and pistons with Childes & Albert rings. It has a Weaver Brothers 4 stage dry sump oil system with an aluminum Hamburger dry sump pan and system 1 oil filter. There is a high torque mini starter (15-1 comp.) along with all MSD ignition system including a crank trigger, billit low pro distributer, 7AL box, and 8.5 wires. The drive line consists of a Casale 10 degree V drive with a whirl-a-way and an air actuated Bimba cylinder for the in and out. It has a Lenco bell housing along with a Lenco solid drive shaft and couplers, the drive shaft and V drive shafts have been gun drilled for strength and weight savings. The prop shaft is an Aqua Met 22 and is 1? in diameter. It has Rewarder step headers, a Dan Olson wing with aero strut tubing mount and all aluminum cavitation hardware. All this comes sitting on a fully custom dolly trailer. Asking 37.5K, not looking for trades. More pictures available.
