Unfortunately, I just learned that my Reaction likely needs to have the stringers replaced. I recently had the bow storage reglassed and coated, and some stress cracks on the port side near the bow ground out and filled. But, when the shop hoisted the boat off the trailer to paint it, we saw additional stress cracks near the stern on both sides. They were previously hidden by the trailer bunks, and I never inspected the boat from underneath while in the water (my fault).
So, I understand from my shop that the floor must be cut out from the bow storage compartment to the stern in order to access and likely replace the stringers. The stringers stop at the bulkhead which forms the aft wall of the bow storage, so the front of the boat can be left alone. Then, a new floor must be glassed in and finished from that point aft.
I just purchased another boat, and have no desire to get into the boat business, so I am offering this as a fantastic opportunity for someone with the skills and/or friends to the work.
The good news is that the boat is beautiful, and I have made many updates and improvements over the past year. Some of the boat?s features are:

I don?t have exact performance figures, but my guess is right around 60 mph. I really feel like there is more there with a different prop. She was detailed June 1 and looks great. This boat has been great to me, so I was really disappointed to learn of the issues beneath the floor.
I have the boat, motor, and trailer priced fairly at $5,900. This is a fantastic value for what you will have after putting in a little sweat equity. The floor and stringer replacement is real work, but it is not ungodly expensive. I know what this boat will become, and I am not going to go broke if she doesn?t sell quickly, so please don?t make any ridiculous offers. Boat is located in Southwest Orlando.
