The time has come for a little bigger rig, sadly my trusty ship of 14 years needs to sail with a new captain.
If you know someone needing a conversation piece with a little humor on the water, look no further. If you get a kick out of people taking pictures of your craft while at a stop light, drag this puppy around. If you like start-stuck coeds walking up to you at the boat ramp at the yacht club, you need something better than a pontoon, get a mans boat like this! This boat has it all, power, speed, character and class, also a bilge pump and drain plug you can empty while on plane. Summer isn't even half way over, don't miss your chance for #Boats&Hoes2017. Aside from that, this boat raises fish. Women will want you, fish will fear you!
The boat is a 16' and change, 1972 Sport Kraft with a 1982 Johnson 15 HP 2 cycle. I did another carb kit last spring. Engine starts on the third pull and runs like a spotted *** ape. With the three kids and our catfish jugline equipment we can reach 17 MPH planed out across the lake. I replaced the water pump recently, and also changed lower unit oil. The pull cord rope is also brand new and will last another 35 years.
I have kept on top of the leaks that are common in all aluminum boats with the use of flex seal, marine paint and some repaired rivets.
Clear title for boat, motor and trailer all in hand.
I added a fiber glass deck from an old Carolina Skiff, but it can easily be removed.
The Dilly trailer is solid and could handle a larger boat. Trailer lights work. I also added some guides to make the boat easier to align on the trailer during windy or cross-current conditions. Two of the three tires are less than 1 year old, the hitch is a bull dog and solid as they come.
Boat is located in San Marcos and I'm happy to show a test run and maybe check a jug line or two in the process.
Asking $1,200 for a running boat. All I really need is something with more seating for the kiddos and their pack of friends while we check jug lines.
