Limited pics here on THT, full gallery here:
I purchased the boat 3 years ago and in the time I've owned it, performed a long list of upgrades/improvements. I have treated this boat like I would own it indefinately, continuously upgrading an improving it to make it the ultimate fishing machine. In the time I've owned it, I have:
-Repowered with a 2006 Honda BF225 with full digital gauge package with fuel management system, there are 315 hours on the engine, and the engine has had all recall/update work done. The transom was reinforced with a load spreading aluminum bracket to support the added weight of the 225.
-Added Seastar Hydraulic Steering
-Added Lenco Trim Tabs
-Installed a Mercury Enertia SS Prop for best performance and best economy.
-Replaced the aluminum fuel tank with 96 gallon Poly fuel tank for ~300 miles of range
-Added a removable 2 man crow's nest on the hardtop
-Rewired boat completely, moving batteries into the cabin, adding a Automatic charging relay, dome lights, breaker panel & new dash panel with new switches. Also added an additional bilge pump in the back and a new fwd bilge pump during the rewire. I believe there is a 2000 GPH and a 1500 GPH backup bilge pump in the back, very adequate for an emergency.
-Added dual VHF radios, one in the cabin, one up top.
-Added a Simrad EQ44 commercial grade sounder in a navpod with SS260 (same as B260, except stainless)transducer glassed into the keel for daytime swordfishing & deep dropping.
-Added a Garmin 545s GPS/chartplotter/backup sounder (with a p66-hp limited/experimental production P66 transducer from Airmar) Several numbers loaded into it around Boca Raton. Also has the bluechart G2 vision card for S FL
-Added a hardtop with 3 spreader lights.
-Added a 5 rod rocket launcher to the hard top
-Added several rod holders
The boat comes with a full USCG safety package, including fire extinguisher (<1 year old), flares (good til 2015), 4 adult life preservers, a type iv throwable pfd, & a whistle.
There is a GPS tracking device installed on the rig, which for $20 a month, allows you to see the vessel location online, and alerts you via Text Message to any suspicious movement, low battery, etc. You can set up geofencing and such but I've never needed to. If you don't want the tracker, I will remove it, otherwise, we can transfer service to you.
The boat is sitting on a 2007 Continental Aluminum Trailer with good tires. The bunks and all are set up perfectly for the boat.
When I say this boat is ready to go, it is truly ready to go. She comes with about 40 gallons of fuel already in the tank.
For a 20' boat, this boat is huge, it's closer to a 25' LOA with the pulpit and engine. The boat has two working livewells, a large fishbox, raised helm area, & ample storage throughout. There is a stereo installed, it's nothing spectacular, but it plays tunes.
This boat has done it all - from pulling up swordfish and tilefish, to diving for lobster, to pulling up more yellowtail and mutton snapper than I can remember. The boat is also great for a day on the ICW, I've taken our non-fishing friends tubing and wakeboarding and with the 225, it's got a lot of get up and go.
Fuel burn is a little over 3 MPG at a 25 mph cruise with medium load, mid to upper 2's if it's loaded down and rough out. Trolling fuel burn is in the upper 4 mpg range, so she'll sip fuel if you're into trolling. She tops out in the lower 40's.
Selling the whole package for $12,000 - boat is located in East Boca Raton, FL, please call Max with any questions or to arrange a viewing - 561-674-3308.
