Unfortunately this old girl has to go. I am more of a beach fishermen these days and don?t have the time. Really wonderful boat ? those that know the SeaCraft name know what I am selling here. Pretty much turn-key, absolutely ready to rip, classic (albeit not a Potter-era boat) that is waiting for you to take her out and fish her hard.
The '84 was in between Potter and Tracker years. This series of the hulls were very heavy. Dry (no gas) and no motor, these were 2,100 lbs - solid solid solid! Before I put tabs on it, she rode flat, fast and true, even with that big beast on the back of her. I did not really need the tabs, but put them on for the sloppy days to keep spray down (nice to be able to drop one chine deeper in a quartering sea).
Motor - 2001 Yamaha 200 HPDI 2 stroke with a 4 blade prop. Drives the boat hard out of the hole and still tops out at just over 40 knots. Has very low hours on it. I have personally put less than 100 on it. It was installed to the boat (used) and had less than 250 hours on it when installed.
Boat was torn all the way down and rewired and painted in 2008. Awgrip Fighting Lady Yellow gunwales and Cloud White cockpit. Console rebuilt with a custom Starboard dash and doors. Batteries and remote oil tank for motor moved up under console. Rewired with all BlueSeas electrical gear, including battery switch, fuse panel and in-dash power controls. Batteries are a pair of Group 31 Optima Blue Tops.
Custom T-Top with rod holders installed. Makes for great shade on hot days. I had the height raised 10" so I could fish around it better (I am 6'2" and now can get around it no issues).
New 60 gallon tank custom fabricated and installed by SP Marine in Barnegat, NJ in 2012.
Trim Tabs - Bennett 9x12?s
Bilge - While the '84 did not have the ultra low transom like the Potter's did, it is still and open rear. As such, when we rebuilt her, we installed twin Rule 2,000 GPH bilge pumps one of which is on a float switch and hard-wired to the battery.
