I found this boat last week and went to have a boo at her. The condition was incredible even for a garage kept 18 year old combo, so I bought it.
That said, I've decided that because of the way I use my boats (mostly commercially) that it is just too pretty of a boat for me and I'm putting her up for sale for someone to really appreciate.
I've gone thru the whole boat and only issue found was a seized bilge and livewell pump which were replaced with new ones today.
Gave her new spark plugs and water sep filter. Drained carb bowls, changed gearlube (even though it was still clean), checked fuel in her 29 gal. underdeck tank for contamination, added muffs and H20 and fired on 1st turn of the key. Pissed strongly and idled quite smoothly.
I also had A-Team come up today to measure her up for a console mooring cover, soon to follow.
So to get to the chase here is what I've got........All garage kept, till now.
1996 17CC Seastrike boat (a 9.5 on a 10 scale) conditionwise. I also understand this was a favorable manufacture year for these.
Has a hinged tiltable console. 29 gal alum underdeck fuel tank.
1996 CLEAN, 70HP 2str, oil injected yamaha (maybe 150 hours)w/tach.
1997 performance galvanised, tiltable trailer, w/spare tire and jack.
Hummingbird fishfinder, ritchie compass, new battery, safety gear, dock lines, anchor line, custom stainless anchor, dock bumpers, full casting platform cushion, flipflop cooler seat w/cushion, another cooler in front of console, custom console mooring cover (being made this week), new bilge pump and livewell pump (today), fresh plugs, water sep filter and gearlube(today).
I haven't splashed her yet but op says she runs mid 30's at WOT.
This little baby is turnkey, clean and ready for someone to appreciate her!
