FOR SALE 1979 Spectra V-Drive
Rigged by my father, Bob Teague, at Burbank Marine in 1978.
This boat is IN FACT the VERY FIRST 19 Spectra V-Drive ever built, 19's were only jets before this one.
It is in excellent all original condition.
It is laid up extra heavy with 4 full length stringers.
I cannot emphasize how original this boat is.
It was owned by a friend of the original owner and has been stored inside its entire life and used only a couple of times every season.
He sent us an email about the boat that lead to me purchasing it less than a year ago.
This is a truly turn key retro river rod!
It runs 80 MPH and handles chop like a much larger boat.
Everything about the boat is original 1979 hardware, unless noted below:
454 LS6 BBC w/ Edelbrock UR2X tunnel ram and Holley mechanical 660's. Engine was rebuilt and converted to hydraulic roller about 10 years ago.
I rebuilt, painted and tuned the carbs.
Full new MSD Ignition, Billet Remote oil filter and oil cooler, Aeromotive Fuel pump and new fuel plumbing installed myself.
Art Carr Polished Turbo 400 3 Speed Transmission
Casale 10 Degree Split Case V-Drive.
22-25% Gears I figure by speed vs. RPM
3 Propellers including rare Federal SuperStainless zero rake
Finish line mechanical Cav Plate Pedal/Lockout

It really bums me out to list this boat, but sometimes life throws you a curve ball.
Really cool owning something with such a backstory.
