For sale is a rare and good lookin 30' Center Console. It's a 1977 T-Craft that has now been through 3 restorations/refits.
Stringers, deck, console, simrad electronics, fushion stereo, speakers, vhf, switches, wiring, heavy gauge battery cables, bilge pumps, hi water alarm, bow seating, cushions, isinglass, cowling shade extension, swim platform and dive ladder are ALL BRAND NEW as of December.
It's powered by a super reliable 270 hp cat 3208t. A new/rebuilt transmission was installed while the motor was out even though it wasn't required. I would have repowered this boat if anything was questionable on the motor but this thing is SOLID and perfect for the boat. I do have the spare transmission listed separately for sale, but it can go with the sale of the boat if this deal happens first.
Some history on T-Craft boat (from what I've gathered) . .They were made on the east coast up until 1984 when the factory burnt down. The 24 mold was saved and is now used to make the 24 Robin. A VERY SOUGHT AFTER guide boat. The 30' mold was destroyed and not made again. However in '85 someone bought the name "t-craft" and made a 30' boat, but it is NOT the same.
This 30' long 10' beam CC is built for pleasure, or for profit. It's a tank, the most solid boat I've re-done, and super stable offshore. Floats more like a barge than a CC. This boat can handle 8 anglers with ease, 8 divers with ease, or 16 plus people on a family cruise. I had 18 people on board for the local boat parade of lights in December and neither space nor power was lacking at all.
The boat runs a solid 18kts even with tremendous load and heavy sea. Will run 24+kts (27.5 mph on GPS) at 2850 rpm, and get a solid 3-4mpg.
The electronics are twin SIMRAD NSS7's. The touch screen versions, and installed was a 1k transducer. This is combo is a GREAT set up. The network is already set up if you want to add Radar, or anything else.
Please do not hesitate to call with questions. I know every inch of this boat. This is the first T-Craft I've rebuilt, however I've done many 24 and 31 Morgan's, and as much as I love those boats. . .this one takes the cake on build, lines, and overall coolness. I get asked nearly every time this boat has been out what hull it is, what year it is, etc.
If I were to keep a re-built boat this would be it. . .however I enjoy buying old boats and making new. . .and I already have the next project in house so this one is ready for someone else to enjoy.
If you want a go-fast, offshore, rough seas fishing machine. . ..don't call me.
If you want a very rare, very cool looking, very stable boat that NOBODY else has, and want to fish, dive, entertain, chill, or charter. . .than this might be for you.
Asking $38,500 but open to offers since these are hard to compare.
fyi... I'll do my best to keep an eye on this post but feel free to call me if you're interested.
