2003 Twin Vee, 140 Suzuki 4 stroke
Time to sell my 2003 Twin Vee weekender boat. I bought it from jpsully on this forum 2003 Twinvee Weekender 26' 22K in 2011. It has been a stable and dependable fishing platform.
During the time I've owned it, these items have been added or updated:
The trailer; 2 new axles 2012 (I bent one on a curb), new tires, LED lights, new strap on winch. (trailer does not have brakes, can easily be added)
The engines; new impellers 2012, replace wiring harness under hood on starboard engine, old one had a bad place in injector wire, new plugs. Oil, filters, and lower unit oil has been changed every 100 hours, records kept. Motors are running in individual photos.
The hull; replaced baitwell pump, replaced bilge pumps as needed, added high water large bilge pumps with thru hull fittings, done minor repair on the fiberglass around the baitwell and in the cabin, replaced the running lights with LED lights, replaced the sunbrella top in 2011. Replaced the forward hatch in 2012.
The electronics; 582L Furuno, 600 watt thru hull transducer, 182C Garmin gps, Furuno GP32 gps (for back up), Furuno 1622 Radar, added a second radio and antenna, Icom IC-125, and a Raymarine autopilot
The boat is still solid, dependable, and fairly fuel efficient, around 1.7 nautical mpg (engines never shut off all day). The trailer is in good condition and roadworthy, have done a few trips to Venice, La. Everything works on the boat.
Things needed to be done on boat; the cockpit needs a new jell coat and painted. There are a couple of places on the aluminum top that need re-welding. The upholstery needs to be replaced. These will be done after fishing season if boat does not sell.
I still have the eisenglass enclosures, I've only used them once. I also have a large tuna box that goes with the boat. An anchor, chain, and around 400' of 1/2" rope go with the boat.
Boat's top speed is around 33 knots, I usually cruise at around 26 knots (4800 rpm) if possible. Mileage is around 1.7 nautical mpg. Fuel capacity is 60 gallons for each tank. (has 2)
Oh, yea, the price? $23,500, might take a smaller 17-19 center console in trade. Boat can be sea trialed with appointment.
