Great opportunity to get a nice coastal cruiser ready to go. We purchased Cocos in 2011 and spent 6 months rehabbing her. A partial list of all that was done is: completely rebuilt Yanmar diesel engine, replaced all wiring, refurbished all teak wood work, professionally installed all new rigging, lines and sheets, new cushions and curtains, painted top and bottom, and all inside compartments, installed new LED lighting, stereo system, Lowrance, tachometer, 3 bilges and a large battery bank. Cocos has a 3 burner gas stove, ac/de refrigerator, tv/dvd player, full head, sleeps 4 comfortably with the v-berth and two side berths. Sails are in good condition and include a rolling furler jib, main sail and storm jib. Sails have covers and there is a bimini top over the cockpit. The Watkins sailboats have their keels encapsulated as part of the hull and are very sturdy, comfortable sailing boats. General specs:
she?s 27? long with a 10? beam and 3.6? draft, a 20 gal. fuel tank, 40 gal. water tank and 30 gal. holding tank. Cocos lives at the City Dock in Naples and has been to Ft. Myers, Marco, Isles of Capri, Goodland, Everglades City, Coon Key, Panther Key and Key West. We have enjoyed cruising with her so much we are moving up to a larger sailboat for more extended cruising. Call or text Sherry at 239-595-8326 for more details or to see her.
