JDM VER7 STI ENGINE!
JDM VER7 STI TRANS 6SPD!
did i get your attention?
cant believe i am selling already. this is my second 02 bugeye wrx in my life. Color is Aspen White. i flew to California and drove it back to Chicago in 36 hours back in April of this year. what a roadtrip experience. funny thing is that during the ownership of both bugeyes, this one and my previous one, i hardly drove them. guess its not meant to be 3.. i am selling because i am moving on to another project car.
here is the link of the sale thread from the previous owner. it consists of all of the modifications he has done to the car, him being the 3rd owner.
the build on the car was originally what i had planned on doing to my first bugeye.
here is a list of stuff i have done to the car during my ownership:
-04 STI Trunk Jack (its just a jack)
-02 WRX Sun Visors
-02 WRX Light Domes
-02 WRX C Pillars
-02 WRX Roof Hangers
-07 WRX Headliner
-STI Carpet Floor Mats Black
-JDM Red Hazard Button
-JDM Clear Side Markers
-WRX Trunk Badge
-STI Trunk Badge
-New Coolant Cap
-New Gas Cap
-LED Front Side Markers
-Sylvania ZEVO 7443R LED Light Bulbs Brake
-Sylvania ZEVO 7440 LED Back Up Bulbs
i simply converted the headliner, hangers, visors, etc.. back to stock because it was wrapped in blue and black. i wanted the stock look again.
i have to calculate the mileage on the engine later because the cluster is in KM.. JDM ftw right? previous owner told me the engine and trans are in the 30k miles range. so low mileage. the shell has 188k ish mileage if i remember.
there are 3 problems i want to point out:
-remote control not working right. it started acting up ever since it got to chicago. it would take a long time until the system recognizes the remote signal in order to unlock. i was going to get an aftermarket alarm system put in but now you can
its not that expensive
-engine light is on due to loose pin in the ecu. i was going to get it repinned during alarm install. nothing is wrong with the engine. i can show you in person which wire i am talking about.
-3rd problem is that the 3rd gear grinds due to synchros. my plan was to get the transmission rebuilt next year
Price is $15,500 obo Located in Chicago IL
i know the price is a little high but considering the amount of work and detail that was put in, this is one heck of a jdm bugeye. i paid something similar for it.
other parts i will sell for it:
-04 STI Shift Trim + Cup hold part $100
-04 STI Door Cards $200
-polished lateral links for 02-07 wrx/sti $200
-prodrive + V-limited front lips combo NEW unpainted $100 i was gonna replace the ones on the car
-fresh powder coated Ver7 STI GOLD Wheels $600
-Cusco Heat Shield $50
