The time has come to sell my beautiful 964. I purchased this 964 from Dan Jacobs (Daniel Jacobs LLC - Porsche) in 2015. Dans shop went through the entire car before/after the purchase. The car was in great condition and Dan advised that I could drive it for a couple of years and not do anything, but Im not one who waits for things to happen.
So, with Dans advice we decided to do a top end (pics below). All history, maintenance and receipts for this car has been documented and organized into binder. Ive spent over $40K on maintenance, paint and custom items. Prior to purchasing the car, the body and paint was good but not perfect. The Carfax is clean and Dan said while going through the entire car he didnt find any evidence of accidents. This was also confirmed later by the body shop who did the respray. I continued to use Dans shop to maintain the car until the long drive from NJ to CT no longer made sense. Ive owned (own) a few Porsches and Im loyal to only two shops Dan Jacobs and PowerTech. Prior to purchasing this car from Dan, I only used (use) PowerTech to maintain my Porsches. PowerTech is the only shop that works on this car.
Everything on this car works. The interior is in great condition. The dash is in perfect condition with no fading or cracks, the carpets are clean and looks great. All gauges work including the quartz clock and theyre in great condition, the AC was serviced last year and blows cold. The car was repainted in 2016 and has a few minor rock chips nothing to fuss about. This car is garaged and covered its driven mostly on weekend to events, weekend trips or to bear mountain. -New OEM tail lights (center and corners. cost over $1K) custom done in a darker finish
