2003 Subaru Impreza WRX Sedan | World Rally Blue Pearl | 99,000 miles | $10000
After 12 years of ownership, I'm selling my 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX Sedan in World Rally Blue Pearl. The car was purchased used in 2005 and I'm the second owner. After 12 years of being daily driven, the car has held up incredibly well and remains in good condition. Intended as a project car, the WRX has been modified in the past but remains mostly stock today with a few upgrades including a VF34, Cobb AccessPort 2 and Brembo front brakes. It has been regularly maintained and received a new steering rack and tires earlier this year. Being nearly 15 years old, this car is not without it's problems:
The Bad:
-The front bumper has been cut to fit a FMIC in the past and could be replaced
-There is some rusting around the front radiator and in the engine bay around the intake box and battery tray
-The aftermarket HID kit is not reliable and could be replaced
-There are cracks on the backs of the JDM headlight housings
-The engine valve cover gaskets should to be replaced
-The front and rear brake pads should to be replaced
-There are several dents and scratches on the body work and paint oxidation on the hood scoop
-There are 2 chips on the windshield glass
-There is an exhaust rattle at low RPM, could be a loose heat shield
-There are missing bolts, clips and brackets throughout the car
-All 4 Advan Racing RS wheels have been curbed and scratched
-There are 2 broken mounting bolts on the WRX rear wing
The Good:
-JDM STI projector headlights
-JDM STI VF34 turbocharger
-Cobb AccessPort 2 with tune
-JDM STI fog light covers
-Brembo GT front brake kit with slotted rotors and SS lines all around
-Advan Racing RS wheels 17x8.5 in dark grey
-Project Kics lug nuts with wheel locks
-NEW WRX steering rack (installed April 2017)
-NEW Falken tires (installed May 2017)
-NEW air/fuel sensor, MAF sensor and throttle position sensor (installed May/June 2017)
-Well maintained paint
-Well maintained interior
As stated previously, the car is not without it's issues and is being SOLD AS IS. For having nearly 100K miles, it still drives well and has been extremely reliable over the years. I'm happy to answer questions and share additional photos with SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY. If you're looking for a good example of the increasingly rare Bugeye WRX as a project car, restoration project or even a reliable daily, this could be it!
Thanks for looking!
