I have a 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS that has been fully swapped to a STI Engine/Transmission/Brake setup. Please note this is a highly modified car and likely will not be a great daily driver. If you are looking perhaps for a race car this would be perfect. The car does run and drive. Mechanically everything seems sound, engine runs well no apparent leaks, turbo gets into boost and holds it. I'm probably forgetting a few mods, I tried to put everything I remember.
1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS
World Rally Blue
JDM STI V7 Wheels Gold - Some curb rashes likely could be refinished
Mileage unknown - This is due to the engine swap as well as having a JDM instrument cluster (in km). Best guess is the body has around 120k miles engine around 30k since the swap.
EJ207 (JDM spec) Subaru Motor, full wire harness, and matching JDM ECU
6 Speed STI Transmission (JDM Spec)
Brembo Brakes Front/rear from a 2004 STI, with slotted rotors
Large Front Mount Intercooler
STI Genome Axle Back Exhaust
Adjustable struts (I've forgotten which ones are on)
JDM STI Strut Tower Bar
Rear Strut Tower Bar
Whiteline Rear Sway Bar
2005 STI Front Seats
2004 STI Rear Seats
2005 USDM STI Steering Wheel with Boost Gauge
Windows and Moonroof motors work perfectly
Painted side skirts - some paint is chipping
JDM rear taillamps
This car is NOT currently inspected/registered.
Due to all the engine modifications and using a JDM ECU this will NOT read OBDII codes, likely cannot be registered in an area where this is required. This car does have a catalytic converter so in theory it might be possible to pass a sniff test, but I have not tried I have no idea if it would be under the limits.
There is no air conditioning. Due to the engine swap some custom hardlines need to be made up. The condenser, and compressor and some of the lines are in place but they are incomplete. It might be possible to fix this with someone who is willing to spend the time. Heat/blowers are intact and work.
There is a small electrical leak somewhere, if the car sits for a long period of time the battery will drain. There is a quick disconnect on the battery to prevent this.
