For sale is my built 2004 WRB Subaru Impreza WRX. This car was built over the last two years by Agile Auto and has easily over thirty thousand dollars worth of aftermarket parts. Here is the backstory of the car and why I am selling it…
It was purchased earlier this year by me. The previous owner provided most build receipts from Agile where it was built. It was beyond break in period on the new motor, this includes a 2.2 Closed Deck Cosworth Stroker kit, Blouch 20g Dominator 1.5XTR, and a complete gear set from Albins (helical cut, not straight cut.) At this time it was still in need of a tune. I purchased the car and drove it approximately 60 miles while on wastegate boost only. I have been a long time customer of IAG so I wanted it to be tuned there. I made an appointment and during pre-dyno inspection I was informed that the leakdown was high on the passenger/exhaust side. The compression numbers were still acceptable however the car was also low on oil when they drained it and some metal shavings could be seen in the pan. So take your guess..bent valve...broken valve...I didnt tell them to break down the engine since I cant afford to do it right now.
This leaves me with a tough decision, but I am not in a position to drive this car until it detonates, or build this car right now the way I want to. I already have a project car that is always being tampered with and takes up a garage spot. I simply don’t have the space or time. Anyone here can tell you that this car can be easily taken apart and fixed in a weekend, and it could be a fun project if you enjoy doing your own work. And to be honest it has a ton of expensive and awesome parts (listed below) that already make a hell of a build.
The body itself has 149,000 miles on it and is in good condition. The front bumper has small rock chips and it has minor door dings and scratches on the passenger side, giving it an 8/10. The interior is in awesome shape and features heated seats, a sunroof, Momo steering wheel, and an upgraded sound system and display; 9/10.
This car CAN be driven, but for an unknown amount of time. I wouldn’t enjoy driving it knowing that it is not running at its potential. I have fully disclosed all of the information regarding the car and its condition. I am not someone who is trying to be deceitful, as it is not the type of person that I am. My itrader feedback can be seen on legacygt and supraforums as well. I will list the parts included on the car and with the sale. If it does not sell, I will tear it apart myself and build it. But like I already stated, I just don’t have the time right now. I am already losing my ass listing it for this low of a price.

All of these items were assembled by Agile Auto. The cylinder head was surfaced, degreased and cleaned. The entire block was degreased and cleaned. The block was then re-honed and bored for the piston width. The deck height was properly set and the valve guides were grinded and seated.

As you can see, I could part out the engine alone aside from what is wrong with it internally and make the asking price. However, this car is already an overall well built package. This is the perfect WRX for a car enthusiast who wants 90% of the hard work done and parts already installed. If you want a car that will rev higher, move faster, stop quicker, and be more affordable on insurance, this is the one. I will do my best to answer any questions but I have honestly not even gotten to know this car as well as my other ones. I have pictures of receipts from Agile and also a Carfax showing no accidents in its history.
