Up for sale is my 2008 Subaru Spark Silver Metallic WRX STi. This was the first year that Subaru went to a wide body hatch-back body style and it is no longer in production as of 2015. I have had the car for a couple of years now and never once has it given me any problems. I am a very meticulous aviation mechanic who is crazy passionate about cars (mainly Subaru's). I have been hooked on Subaru's ever since the WRX came to the state's back in 2002 (year of the bugeye). When it comes to purchasing cars, I need to see a high level of care and condition; this car was no exception. It literally took me over a year to find this car. It was a grueling search, but I wanted a near perfect condition, not abused, extremely clean, low mileage, and slightly modified car (but not effecting the cars well known reliability). The car has a clean history with no accidents and no nicks on the title (which I have in hand). I am the third owner. It has been garaged kept its entire life. Both previous owners and I have kept up on all of the car's required scheduled maintenance (oil changed at 2.5k-3k using only Motul 8100 ECO-nergy 5w30, OEM filters, etc. . .) and I have all the receipts and the paperwork. The previous owner would only take the car to IAG performance (one of the best and well know East Coast Subaru shops around) for all scheduled maintenance. IAG also installed all modifications on the car. The exterior condition is excellent with no scratches or dents anywhere on the car and same goes for the interior with no issues. The car only has 49K miles on it which may slightly go up. The car is not my daily driver and spends most of its time in my garage. This car was only driven in the summer months and never on salt/snow (I understand the car is meant for harsh conditions and rallying, but this is the type of owner I am). This car has lived a pampered life with only getting rained on once which was last year driving home from the 2015 Boxerfest (Mid-Atlantic Subaru meet). Like I said, the car has lived a pampered life and for that is unfortunately one of the main reasons I have decided to sell the car. The car spends most its time under a custom fit California car cover on a battery tender in my garage. I simply do not drive the car enough and I know there are a ton of Subaru enthusiasts in our area that would drive the car for what it is meant to do. As stated previously, the car's exterior is near show room condition with only slight modifications to enhance the cars overall look. The car is glued to the road with massive 265/35/18 BFGoodrich G-sport T/A ties on Rota DPT 18x9 wheels (which have less then 5K miles on them). These drastically change the look of the car and have zero rubbing or camber issues. The car is slightly lower than stock because the car is on BC fully adjustable coil-overs and White Line sway bars all around. The cars current height is perfect because you have zero clearance issues and can still get over anything on the road (speed bumps, hills, etc.) I have never hard launched, tracked, dragged, or hit anything with this car. I will be giving the new owner the original suspension components if desired. I replaced the AEM cold-air intake to a short ram Cobb SF-intake and box (it gives much more turbo spool/stock blow off valve noise in the cabin). The car was tuned at TurboXs (using the Cobb V2 AccessPort) to make sure everything was running perfect and reliable. The car does have a full P & L motorsports stainless steel turbo-back exhaust system (very rare and looks awesome from the back) which in my opinion is one of the best sounding exhaust systems you can buy. I will also include the stock catback exhaust and downpipe if you want a quieter exhaust note. The interior has some upgrades listed below. The horrible Subaru radio and speakers have been upgraded completely with a Kenwood touch screen head unit (DVD player, navigation, hands free calling, Bluetooth, etc. . .) and audio integrations subwoofer enclosure in the rear with a kicker solo classic 10" subwoofer (the setup looks almost factory and still gives you the space in the back). The sound system now sounds incredible. To sum the car up, it has been a true pleasure to own and joy to drive. This car is ready for whatever you throw at it. From a cross country trip, to a day at the track, or simply a great daily commuter that will receive thumps up where ever you go. I assure you that this is one of the nicest Subaru's around for sale. Please look at other STi's that are in the area before you look at mine (for comparison). I am in NO RUSH to sell. So please if you are interested have your finances ready. This will save both mine and your time. Unfortunately, the car will not move until I see that you are a serious buyer and I do not feel like cleaning the car every time it goes out (because I will). NO joy rides. No Trades at this time. Although if you have something rare (Supra, 240Z, NSX, GTR, I would add cash if needed, etc. . .manual transmission preferred) and in similar condition to my car. I am up to hear what you have. I am asking $26,800 (very firm on price but slightly negotiable) low ball offers will simply be ignored. I thank you for reading this post.
Have a great day!!!
