Just in case any Aussies are looking, I have for sale a GFI Expo pedal steel guitar.
10 String, 3 pedals, 4 knee levers, all pull, fairly conventional, tuned to E9. Has a feelable half stop on the RKR.
I have had this for about two years, bought it new from Al Brisco (Canada). Been great, still is, but I haven't used it for about six months and that doesn't look like changing..
Aluminium frame, screw legs, quick release pedal bar, stainless steel changers (it was important for me to get these as Aluminum changers wear under the tension and movement of the strings), roller nut, orginal GFI II pickup, denim leg bag.
Included, I have the hardcase (860x310x180mm for a total weight of approx. 20kg), a couple of packets of strings (E9), a considerable amount of PDF instructional files and some movie file lessons/tutorials
Gene Fields (now passed) spent time at Fender and has some design credits there, upon leaving he continued in instrument design, culminating in the creation of GFI, to build contemporary pedal steel guitars.
Guitar is in Coolum on the Sunshine Coast.
Asking $3200 AUD
Happy to freight at buyers cost..
