This is an original Vega Profundo from the early 1940s. It has a dreadnought body shape but ladder bracing, which gives it a noticeably different tone than the closest Martin or Gibson models but still gives it a very punchy bass. The tuner knobs have been replaced, but the rest of the guitar - including the tuner gears themselves and the floating pickguard - are original. The strap pin by the heel is a later addition.
The neck has been reset, but there are no other repairs or damage to report beyond some normal finish wear. It comes with a non-original hard case.
I'm asking $1500 including Paypal fees and shipping within the US.
