Here for sale trade is an absolutely killer 1973 Fender Precision Bass. It is all original save the pickguard and the control knobs. Everything else is stock '73 including original solder joints. The pickguard is a brand new(relic'ed) Spitfire Tortoiseshell guard. It didn't come with the original so I had this one custom made! The bass is in excellent shape for its age. The frets have very little wear at all(its been played with flats), back of the neck perfect. Naturally relic'ed in all the right spots
It definitely brings it tone wise too! Growly, fat, sits in the mix exactly how you'd expect a great vintage P-Bass to. I hate to move it, but I need a good 5 for a few upcoming production show runs so its up for sale/trade. Does not come with case. Priced at $1999 US shipped. Thats as low as it goes folks!
Trades I am interested in are:
-Sadowsky Metro RV5 or RV5-PJ with Morado/Rosewood fingerboard. NO maple!
-Lakland Joe Osborne(55-60) 5 string
-Lakland 55-14(classic series)
-Dingwall Super P5(or PJ)
I strongly prefer a passive bass unless its a Sadowsky, and definitely want a traditional style. So I won't stray too far from the above list
PM me if interested!
