For Trade
Hey all,
This is probably kind of a long shot, but I'm looking to trade my Tom Anderson Cobra Special for a nice, high-end 4 or 5 string bass.
I'm a little guitar heavy right now, and I'm being offered a bunch of bass gigs lately and need to take advantage.
I'd put the trade value at around $1900-$2000.
The guitar is in excellent shape, has an incredibly comfortable body and neck to play, sounds fantastic, and has all the attention to detail and high build quality you'd expect from an Anderson.
Here's what I'm looking for in a bass:
* 4 or 5 strings
* active electronics
* preferably a thin, wide neck
* under 9 lbs.
* P/J, J/J, or hum pickups
The guitar will be professionally packaged and shipped insured.
I can only sell to folks in the continental US (lower 48 states), no exceptions.
I have 100% positive feedback here, on TGP, on Reverb, and on eBay.
Here are the specs for the Anderson:
1999 Tom Anderson Cobra Special Mahogany in TV Yellow
* upgraded pickups to Rio Grande P-90's ("Hushbars") in tortoise shell, with a matching tortoise pickguard and backplate
* original pickups, pickguard, and backplate included
* Buzz Feiten Tuning System
* 6 lbs 12 oz
* near mint shape with no issues
* comes with original G&G hardshell case and string protector

The store I (very) recently purchased this from did a much better job with the pictures than I could ever do, so I'm going to post theirs.
The guitar is in exactly the same condition as it is in these pictures, I've only played the guitar at home since I've had it (no gigs or trips out of the house while it was in my possession).
I can take some pics of the guitar in my apartment if need be.
