Description

I have several fixed blade kabars for sale listed below. All prices are via Paypal goods (the 3% is built in the price) and include shipping in CONUS. All of the knives are without boxes but come with their relative pictured sheaths. My email is [email protected] and can be used for Paypal. If you want one please post here and pm me your name & address.
Kabar 1211, 7" blade. The sheath has a couple surface cuts in it, and the blade some light "sheath burnishing" where it's a little shiny and smooth (see pics). This one I removed the spine side of the guard and added jimping, then Cerakoted the blade, guard, and pommel in Armor Black. This was sharpened after on my belt sander and it arm hair shaving sharp from heel to tip - WAY better than factory. It should be noted that due to the low temp (250f) bake cycle during the Cerakote application, the Kraton G handle shrunk ever so slightly to allow for very tiny gap between the guard/pommel and handle (see pics). I've put about $60 worth of work in this. Asking $60 total.
Next up is a Kabar D2 fighting knife w/ a 7" blade. This was lightly used before the work (so has some dings under the coating on the pommel). I reground the swedge to thin it down... if you want to put an edge on the swedge it would be very simple. It was then Cerakoted in a two-tone color combo of Graphite Black and Titanium (on the pommel and guard). I then sharpened it afterwards and finished it on my Wicked Edge - hair popping sharp, even the serrations many times better than the factory edge! It should be noted that due to the low temp (250f) bake cycle during the Cerakote application, the Kraton G handle shrunk ever so slightly to allow for very tiny gap between the guard/pommel and handle (see pics). I have about $70 worth of work into this one... Asking $95 total.
Kabar 1245, 8" blade tanto w/ a combo edge. Cerakoted the blade and guard in Graphite Black and machine sharpened. Arm hair shaving sharp, way better than factory! There are a few sheath burnishing marks on the flats, I took a pic of the worst - it's just surface marks from the plastic rubbing on the blade. It should be noted that due to the low temp (250f) bake cycle during the Cerakote application, the Kraton G handle shrunk ever so slightly to allow for very tiny gap between the guard/pommel and handle, same as pics above. Asking $65.
Kabar 5055, tanto combo edge. I Cerakoted this in Burnt Bronze and machine sharpened - arm hair shaving sharp the length of the edge.
It should be noted that due to the low temp (250f) bake cycle during the Cerakote application, the Kraton G handle shrunk ever so slightly to allow for very tiny gap between the guard/pommel and handle, see pic. Asking $50.
Kabar 1275, 6.5" blade w/ a Zytel handle with Kraton inserts - very comfortable. This one I reground the swedge and put a razor sharp edge on it, essentially turning it into a double edge blade. The main edge was reprofiled to about 15 dps w/ a 20 dps microbevel finished on the Wicked Edge. It has a needle sharp tip and is hair popping sharp on all edges from heel to tip. The entire knife (minus the scales/screws) was Cerakoted in Armor Black. Asking $90.
Kabar 1464, w/ micarta scales. This knife is discondinued. This was either new or lightly used although it cannot be determined by the appearance... regardless I fresh bead blasted the scales, Cerakoted the entire thing in Graphite Black, and machine sharpened - arm hair shaving sharp the length of the edge, including the serrations. Asking $75.
That's it for now. Thanks!
