Posting this for a friend (Rhinosoul on barf), here's the info from him on the 2009 KLR because I can't read, nor copy/paste:
Hey everyone, I am selling my extremely well sorted KLR650. I want to start this off with saying it has a Salvage title. Previous owner low-sided, scratched plastics, filed insurance claim, bought it back as salvage. There's no frame damage, the bike was torn down to the frame and rebuilt
I bought it right before 38k miles and rode it for 2k miles before the head seized. I then bought a used motor that only had 10k and rebuilt that with a fresh head and a 685 kit. This motor could pull stumps out! Bike now has 43k miles on chassis and 3k on motor.
Here is a list of the farkle and good points:
Progressive Suspension - Monotube front suspension
Progressive Suspension - 465 Rear shock with Remote preload
EBC Pads - Front and Rear
Galfer SS brake Lines - Front and Rear
Calipers and Master Cylinders rebuilt - Front and Rear
RBF600 Brake Fluid
Eagle Mike 685 Kit
Eagle Mike Rebuilt Head
Eagle Mike Subframe bolt upgrade kit
SW Motech Crash Bars
Rear master cylinder guard
KLR650.com Rear Racks
Givi Monokey top case mount
Upgraded Metal foot pegs
Aluminum Short twist Throttle tube (Comes with stock twist cam)
Dash with 12v power and switches
Emergency flashers
Cyclops LED headlights
MSR Handle bars
Upgraded Fiamm Highway Blaster Horn
Volt gauge
Happy Trails Skid plate
New radiator and hoses
New spark plug
Carb rebuilt
LED brake light
ATV Seat Cover
Bark Buster Hand guards
Factory KLR tank bag (not installed but included)
LED Aux lights
Heated grips
LED gauge backlighting
New battery (in the last 6k miles)
New Chain
New Sprockets
Touring windscreen (Included not installed)
1 inch handlebar risers
The bad:
It has been spray painted black.... It is not pretty but it does the job
It needs new tires and the current TKC80s are nearing the end of their life
The rear tail light lens is cracked and needs to be replaced
I have put a ton of time, money, and effort into this bike and it pains me to sell it but I have deiced to focus on going back to school. I am asking $3400. I am FIRM at that price and believe this is a great deal.
