And so many more farkles. I've been obsessive with maintenance because I was planning on taking the bike to Baja and beyond to South America, but life plans change when you least expect them... For example - I have replaced any bolts that weren't flawless with OEM Honda bolts (the oil cover bolts tend to stretch then snap off in the engine case). I've replaced the missing thermostat, installed a new o-ring even though the old one was fine, replaced the missing coolant overflow reservoir...
I put a lot of care and am very observant with this bike.
I personally would not hesitate tossing my camping gear in the Giant Loop bag (not included) and head to Baja tomorrow.
I recently reinforced the subframe with 1/8" aluminum plate and there's no way it's going to pull through the bolt now...
