FS 1984 Honda VF1000F Interceptor.
Beautiful shape. This is a Canadian model with 80k Kilometers. Ready to ride anywhere now. Clear title. Recent work includes coolant flush, replacement of thermostat, fan switch, temp guage sensor, carb clean, oil and filter, MotoBatt, new petcock. Runs like a champ.
116+ HP advertised. I've owned the bike for 1 think 8 yrs.
Works rear shock to replace the OE air unit.(included)
Race Tech fork springs
Galfer Ceramic pads
NOS Cobra F1 slip ons (no OE mufflers)
Heli bars bar spacers
Corbin tall seat
Period Corbin low seat
Stock blue seat
Avon AM26 tires
Stuff in a box:
K&N air filter
Assorted bits
Period LP Lower fairing enclosure (needs paint)
The not terrible:
One factory belly pan tab is missing. Needs someone to fab one and tack it on. I have a belly pan on it with 3 bolts and zip tie. Near invisible. So minor I haven't bothered to deal with it. The PO had the LP lower on it that covered up the missing tab.
RH muffler has a minor scrape. #%@#! These were found on ebay, New Old Stock and I paid 375.00 for them 6 years ago.
Located near Fresno, price is 4000.
US only got this bike for 1 year to homogulate for AMA Superbike . It has a factory slipper clutch and uses some of the frame tubes for the coolant reservoir. Wheel sizes are 16 and 17". This and the little brother, the VF750F were really advanced in the day. These later became the VF1000R then the VFR.
Additional pictures coming and on request.
