Description

Sorrry it's not a Ducati but the monoshock and front brake master are Ducati pieces with the tank/tail and fairing hailing from Italy.
What you see here started as 74 yamaha RD 250 and transformed into a monoshocked RD wearing a tank and tail from a 71Benelli 750cc road racer. Fairing from a 69 Benelli 350-4. I'm the second person in the last 10 years to ask for this tank and from the italian manufacturer so you won't see another one around. A lot of time was spent body working these pieces before they were sprayed in PPG global glamour which is their highest line. There is a light house of colors gold flake in the first coat of clear which gives you a little glimmer in low lights and in the shade but washes away in the bright sun light. As far as the suspension goes, the monoshock was taken from a Ducati 750SS with the front forks being from a rd400, rebuilt with racetech springs and emulators for a 190 lb rider in leathers. The triple clamp is a custom piece along with the solid stainless steel fairing stay.
The motor has a fresh top end on it with mildly ported cylinder, shaved heads, 32mm mikunis and a Dynamo Power electronic ignition system which is self charging and is running without a battery.
Let me know what number you want on the number plaques and I'll paint it on there for you. This bike can scream around town with reliability or would look great in the center of your living room amongst your other art pieces. It's obviously a special bike for a special person. You know who you are.
Cheers,
Trever
