Up for sale is my beloved 2012 Ninja 650 that I've done a few mods to for touring purposes. After my 1300 mile trip this past weekend, I definitely am ready to move up to something larger. I have my eye set on a Triumph Sprint ST, so if anyone has one of those or something very similar, I might be interested in a trade.
The title on this bike is salvage, even though it really shouldn't be. I tipped this bike over a little over a year ago while navigating an intersection with some spilled gravel. I was going under 10 mph when it happened. The insurance company and I went back and forth as to what would happen with the title, and in the end they salvaged it out. I have pics from the accident, and there was literally just a bust tail fairing (replaced), a crash slider that needed replacement, light scratches on the left fairing and case cover, and some very small scratches on the wheel. This bike is in perfect condition considering everything, and is priced accordingly.
The bike has a lot of extras, most notable being the addition of the Givi PLXR racks. I had to drill a single hole in the rear fairing to bolt it into the subframe to allow for the rack mounting. Over time, the left rear fairing has started to show cracking due to the stress. It's currently patched with gorilla glue and gorilla tape, and can be permanently fixed by purchasing the euro ER6 tail fairings which have the OEM holes cut in them for the case. The slight crack never bothered me enough to spend the $300 required to swap to the EDM tail.
