What you are looking at is a 2008 triumph Daytona 675 SE that was crashed and rebuilt with Street Triple parts (Speed Triple handlebars). SALVAGE TITLE. I'm selling because a stroke last year has compromised my ability to safely ride a motorcycle. From the wheels up, this is a completely unique custom paint job. The builder indicated that he was influenced both by the traditional KTM Orange and his San Francisco Giants hat. In fact, it is ready for you to slap an SF logo on the front if you're a Giants fan. It has full Ohlins suspension and lots of carbon fiber goodness (rear hugger, belly pan, chain guard, engine covers, etc) . Lots of life left on these Pilot Road 3s and a brand-new battery (have receipt). Tons of fun - I'll really miss it.
It gave me no problems apart from one which I hadn't yet fixed before the stroke: there seems to be an oil leak near the valve cover (pictured) that drips onto the exhaust headers and makes smoke. I believe it is a relatively simple fix. The three other items that I can think of:
1) the left toe pad fell off years ago and I improvised a replacement.
2) a wildly inaccurate speedometer (~96 mph indicated at 80 mph) from a sprocket conversion. I bought a Speedo Healer but never made it a priority. I'll attempt to find it or we can discuss knocking it off the purchase price. I can also include the original sprockets.
3) the check engine light has been on for the life of the bike because the builder removed the exup flapper valve when he modified the exhaust. I will also include the stock down pipe and mid pipe (with the missing valve) for the exhaust. I also have a code reader that you can have to confirm this is the only engine "problem" yourself both at the time of purchase and for continued peace of mind as you operate the bike.
13,868 miles indicated (although that may be inaccurate given the speedometer issue). Asking $4000.
I am including more pictures below.
