Picked this up to build up for a friend...and then he bought a different (newer) bike.
So - $1500 it is - because that's what I have into it less my time. It's pretty much ready to go. Plastics are not perfect. Fueling is excellent when warmed up, not so perfect (but not bad at all) when cold, even though carbs are clean. I suspect jetting isn't perfect for this altitude. Could use a rear tire before much longer. No - that isn't an SV front fender. It's a CB1 fender with a terrible paint job. No plans to travel to the bay - so ride the casino bus up to Reno on a sunny day for like $17 and I'll fill the tank on the SV. Grab lunch then blast on home (on the right day, I'll even buy).
Battery is new, oil is fresh as are fluids, brake pads good, etc. Carries a clean no issue Nevada title. 40K miles approx. I'd ride it anywhere, personally, as long as my Hawk GT brethren didn't see me
% to Budman as usual
