The time has come to let go of my Italian girlfriend (and her Austrian powerplant) in search for yet another badass beast. This bike has been great, well maintained, and literally just came back from a 2300+ mile road trip up north (Oregon, Washington and back). When I got back from the ride I went through the bike to freshen it all up (list below). It is mostly stock with the exception of the Akrapovic titanium exhaust and the tune to make it run properly with it. It currently has about 13000 miles, though that will change as I still ride it. I have a clean title in hand and will consider trades, but I don't want your boat.
I'd consider something like an FZ-09. I'm looking for $5500.
Now for the actual specifications and what the factory has over the standard:
Model: Tuono Factory (1000R)
Engine: 1000CC VTwin, built by Rotax for Aprilia
Brakes: Radial Mount Brembo Monoblocks
"Factory" version additions
Front suspension: Ohlins R&T Forks (standard version uses Showa)
Rear suspension: Ohlins shock (standard uses Sachs)
Forged OZ wheels (super light!)
Carbon Fiber Front Fender
Carbon Fiber Rear Fender
Carbon Fiber Clutch / Brake master cylinder mounts
Carbon Fiber Radiator shroud covers
Carbon Fiber lowering fairing
Dunlop Q3+ front/rear tires, less than 500 miles on them. 190/55 rear!($380)
New Galfer Sintered Brake Pads (front) ($70)
Front and rear brakes completely bled and flushed
Oil change (and filter) less than 500 miles ago with Motul Synthetic ($55)
Rebuilt forks with OEM Ohlins fork seals and OEM Ohlins fork oil ($100)
Suspension is dialed for a 190lb rider (stock springs, just set sag and compression/rebound settings)
Completely flushed and replaced coolant
Aprilia Akrapovic Titanium exhaust ($1500)
Samco Radiator Hoses
Obnoxiously loud DanMoto Carbon Exhaust
Box of misc OEM parts such as oem turn lenses, rearsets, brake master cylinders, factory manuals, etc.
Comes with two keys
Bottom line, this bike is badass, handles absolutely amazing and is all in all in great shape. The tank (on the left side) has a scuff mark and no it wasn't from me. The original tank paint at the top had warped and bubbled due to the OEM cap failing (common failure) and looked like garbage. The prior owner replaced it with this tank (same paint scheme), but it has a small scuff on the left side. New tanks are like $2500, so that was the best he could do via eBay.
I do have a spare tank that I can add to the sale for a little extra (about $100), otherwise it'll go up on eBay.
I have cross listed this to Craigslist (obviously), so PM me through BARF rather than Craigslist so I know you're more legit than the average c'lister.
Leave your phone number and I can text you any pics or answer any questions you may have.
