2008 Honda CBR1000RR
Black and silver. 7,8xx miles, very good condition, salvage title in hand. Frame was professionally checked and is now straighter than out of the factory - rides straight as an arrow. Scuff marks on the engine case, clutch lever and left bar end.
Mostly stock other than Vortex clip-ons, Targa Fender Eliminator and Zero Gravity windscreen.
- Brand new Dunlop Q3s (not even scrubbed in yet)
- Fresh fork oil and seals
- Fresh motor oil and filter
- Fresh brake fluid front and rear.
- Lots of life left in brake pads
- New air filter
This bike spent a couple years as a light-duty track bike, so most areas requiring safety wire have that installed.
This is a low-mileage, well maintained CBR1000. It doesn't burn any oil between changes and runs like a top. Seriously, it is very fast. If you're looking for your first bike, I will not sell you this one. If you have spikes or a mohawk on your helmet, please don't even bother contacting me.
I know a lot of people have hesitations buying a salvage titled bike, as I once did. However, just like your secret infatuation with Taylor Swift, no one has to know. It looks the same, it rides the same (if not better) and it's nice knowing you probably spent less than that other dude at Starbucks with the CBR.
