Posting for a friend. The bike is in Milpitas.
His CL ad:
Testing water. I'm looking to sell my speedy so I can get into more track days.
A little history of the bike, I'm the third owner. The previous owner got the bike from his brother in law but he mistreated the bike. Killed the sprag clutch and destroy the engine. Left it sitting outside for about a year and didn't do anything to it. I bought it and tore everything down, cleaned her up and gave her a a new engine. Cosmetically she's not perfect, I give her a 7/10 but she ride like a beast.
Currently the bike has:
Clean title and Current registration.
An 2007 Triumph Sprint ST 1050 engine with 6k miles (bought it with 3k miles and have put on 3k+)
Valve checked, everything is within specs.
Plugged the bike into TuneECU and everything checks out: throttle body balanced, correct engine mapping, no errors code, etc.
New Michelin Pilot Road 3 with 3k miles on it. Have about 80% left.
New Shorai LFX18A1-BS12 Lithium battery.
Recent oil change with synthetic.
Recent brake, forks, and coolant fluid change.
Renthal ultra low bar - same geometry as stock.
Snake skin tank grips (have not put it on but will be included)
The Sprint ST 1050 engine is the same as the Speed Triple: bore, stroke, etc. I will include the old engine along with the following stock parts: exhaust, rear fender, and miscellaneous parts that I have for the bike.
I love this bike, took her to Yosemite and back, skyline and hwy 9 a couple of times and been commuting back and forth to SF. THE bike is a torque monster so no beginner please.
