Very clean 2 owner 2001 ZRX1200R in Green.
Full Muzzy's Exhaust, jetted, dynoed at 118HP at the rear wheel.
Has 2 very small flaws. A quarter-sized slight dent in the area where your inner thigh touches the tank and a tiny fin chip on the engine side case; and I mean tiny. Oh and the left passenger peg is scratched. The previous owner lost his footing in sand coming to a stop, doh!
It's a dremel project that may get repaired this weekend.
Recent mods: RaceTech Fork Springs w/7.5 wt. fork oil. Set for a 210 lb. rider.
o All black S.S. Brake Lines front & rear.
Flushed Clutch Fluid also.
o Engine case sliders in black, barely noticeable.
o Just bedded EBC HH brake pads & thoroughly hand cleaned all the pistons with diluted hand soap and a tooth brush. OMG what a difference!
Done the way Dave Moss taught me.
o Just added #38 Pilot Jets! No more burbling pops when you chop the throttle. REALLY smooths out the throttle.
The original owner and I are the same age, 56.
He road it very gently and kept it clean as a Marine's weapon. I am a geriatric Dad
with 2 little ones and although I'd always wanted one of these, I just don't ride it.
I'm thinning my motorcycle collection. Ridden less then a 200 miles in the last year. Mostly post work test rides.
The chain and sprockets are original, when measured they said there's still plenty of life left. That's a testament to how gently this bike has been ridden. The Michelins are a couple years old but have very few miles on them.
Always garage kept. The photos were taken before the brakes-lines which were done last week.
I've recently removed the reflectors, but you may have them
. Full Factory Service manual. Original Purchase invoice etc. If you don't like my asking price please move along. I don't have to sell this bike and I enjoy looking at it. But a clean specimen is becoming VERY hard to find. I'll add a couple more detail shots as weather and time permits.
