........ fully and continually registered and insured plated bike.
Yeah, you heard right. I'm selling my wr450 and my registered and plated wr400 frame. I've
owned both since the very beginning.
The wr400 is a 1999 and the 450 is a 2004. They have always been garage kept and never beat up. But I have used them off road as well as commuting in the city. I also used it on the sheet iron 300 Enduro about 4 times.
The bike is super reliable. So it starts up and runs well. But I do use it and it's not a garage Queen.
It doesn't really need anything right now. It's got about 300 miles on a recent oil filter change. Plugs are good, valves adjusted, the carbs clean.
So what's the deal with the plated 400? Well it's currently just a frame. You do the math. I never intended on selling this plated frame. As many know, this Frame becomes more and more valuable as the years go by. But, just as I have mentioned in a previous thread, I need to thin out the herd. So I'm selling some bikes. The other one, which I will post is a super clean low mileage dr650.
Definitely, I'm motivated to sell but I'm not desperate but I'm more motivated to clean out my garage.
So, there it is.. The 450s ready to ride. It's raining season and it likes to get dirty. By the way, it's not heavily modified either. It's an electric start with a kick-start. That's what the WR is. How awesome is that? I have some spare parts that go with the bike. Lots of good stuff.
