Up for sale is my Alpina Alpiner AL750 Automatic Chronograph - model AL750X4E6. This one is on the factory stainless steel bracelet and features a Valjoux7750 automatic movement. I am the original owner. It is the black dial version but does tend to look slightly blue in daylight due to the AR coating on the crystal. I've really enjoyed this watch as my slightly casual dress watch worn primarily to work. I think the polished/brushed bracelet looks fantastic and you really need to see the sapphire box crystal to appreciate how cool this watch looks from the side.
Overall it's in great condition, the only thing worth mentioning are a few swirlies on the polished bracelet but I plan to spend some time tonight with a cape cod cloth so they should be all gone come sale time. One other comment that I've noticed (and I'm not sure if this applies to all Alpiner Chonos) is that the crown seems slightly difficult to pull out to the time setting position. I've never had an issue setting the time but it does seem like a little more work is required to pop the crown into the last position. I say that in an effort of true transparency as it's something I've noticed since purchasing the watch new but I've just gotten used to it I guess.
The attention to detail on this watch is great. From the brushed and polished case to the textured chrono pushers to the box crystal - it really is a cool watch to look at. While 41.5mm might seem big to some (or small to others) it wears quite well as the case seems to hug the curve on my smaller wrist (6.75").
