Here's a cool vintage Eterna that looks to date to the early 1950s.
The original two-tone dial is in very good condition and features the Eterna five-ball logo and a seconds hand with a subtle red point that adds a nice touch.
The applied Arabics at 12:00 and 6:00 and the markers are in great shape and free of corrosion.
The heavy 14k rolled gold case has no major dings or gouges or ny wear through anywhere on it.
Here's a shot on my 7.5 inch wrist to give an idea as to size.
The classic Eterna Caliber 1247UC is nicely finished with perlage on the mainplate.
It is very clean, running strong and is keeping great time.
Signed caseback is in nice shape with only a few light tool marks.
Signed inner caseback.
There are a few light scuffs on the acrylic crystal that are visible under direct light, other than that, nothing much else to report.
Nice example from a legendary maker that is ready to serve for another 60 years.
The watch will ship on a brand new genuine leather band.
Nice watch, great price of only $160 shipped anywhere in the USA via USPS First Class Mail.
