Hi Everyone! This time I'm selling a beautiful solid 18k gold Seiko Goldfeather from the 1960s--with box and papers!! Asking price: $1,599. Id say its overall condition is above average. I say above average because while the dial does show some signs of age and use (please see details below + PICS), overall its condition seems quite good for its age. Some highlights:The dial, movement, hands and indices are all, to my knowledge, original. The condition of the dial. I will try to describe as best I can the marks of age and use that are evident on the dial, but please SEE PICS FOR DETAILS. That said, here are the main things that I can see with my unaided eye: a) some sort of mark (water mark?) around the tip of the 10 oclock index; b) some sort of spot to the left of the 6 oclock index; c) a spot to the right of the 6 oclock index; d) a spot to the left of the 4 oclock index, close to the minute track; e) a small line near the 13th minute marker; f) other small marks on the dial, located here and there. Thats what I can see. Please see the pics for more details, and of course feel free to ask me for more pics if youd like to see more.I have not scientifically measured its accuracy, but it keeps time as one might expect of a vintage piece from the 60s.The strap, and (probably) the crown and crystal, are after-market replacements, and so not original to the watch. The original case, and paper insert, and cleaning cloth, are all included in this listing. These things really add to its charm!Given this watchs condition, and its accessories, Im selling the watch + case + paper insert + cleaning cloth, for $1,599. That seems like a fair, and attractive, price to me--so thats what Im asking. The money will go toward fueling my continuing watch and pen addiction :)~In Summary~Condition: above average (see comments above)Movement: signed Seikosha Crystal: acrylic (I think)Case: 18k yellow goldDimensions: approx. 34mm (w/o crown); approx. 8.5mm height (from case to top of crystal)Caseback: solidCrown: not screw-downDial: silvery sunburst (beautiful!)Strap: calf leatherWR: unknown (probably not water resistant)* * * Please Note: I prefer PayPal and will ship only to locations within the continental United States. (1) On WUS, I sold a watch (an 18k rose gold Frederique Constant Slimline) not too long ago to Marek (mfaraday). I dont know how to link to what he posted, but here it is copied and pasted: Superb transaction with watchlover1234567I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a watch from Adam (watchlover1234567) and it was an extremely smooth and easy transaction. The communication was always immediate, the watch arrived quickly and in great condition. The shipment was fully insured and packed very well. He's a stand up guy and I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again in the future. Thank you, Adam! (If you search for it in Watch Deals, Feedback and Reputation, you should be able to find this review for yourself, too). (2) On eBay, my eBay ID is adaurruti_0and there you will see that Ive only bought and sold a few items, but my feedback is all positive. Thank you for checking out my listing! Please note that this case does seem kinda grungy, lol. But the red interior and script is absolutely beautiful!
