Downsizing the collection some. Amazing watch the Geophysic 1958.
A limited edition from Jaeger-LeCoultre.
Comes with original box, loop, and manual as well as original black strap and JLC buckle.
I've been wearing it on a blue Hirsch strap as show in the pictures, which is also included since I feel the watch is really made for this type of strap. I love the small lume pips on the inner bezel, the sword hands, 38.5mm width, and no date. Ref #: Q808520 500.8.37.
For those unfamiliar, great write up here about the watch: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/ja...geophysic-1958
Nice video here as well:
I'm very nitpicky about my watches, there is a small hairline scratch at 6 o'clock on the smooth bezel.
It never bothered me when I originally purchased but could easily be buffed out by the future owner. The brush work on the sides and lugs are perfect.
Mechanically perfect as well.
Asking a reasonable $8550 obo.
Feel free to ask questions. Plenty of references on eBay and elsewhere.
Watch and I are both located in Durham, NC, USA.
Also check out my other JLC watch I've listed, which is my Diving Master Compressor Navy Seals Chronograph GMT.
